高校卒業後、恵比寿イタリアンレストランで4年間修業。2002年に単身でNYへ渡り、三ツ星レストラン「Jean-Georges」本店で日本人初のスー・シェフに抜擢。帰国後は日本国内の名店で総料理長を務める。「Jean-Georges」の日本進出を機に、レストランのシェフ・ド・キュイジーヌ(料理長)に就任。2018年夏、THE BURN料理長就任。
